COA, purity, and testing
Each COA is lot-specific and reports the compound’s measured purity (by HPLC), confirmed identity (by mass spectrometry), net peptide content, and release date. The lot number on the certificate matches the number printed on your vial.
Purity is determined by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry (MS), both performed by an independent third-party laboratory. We only list and ship lots that meet our minimum purity threshold — typically 98% or higher.
Yes. Our COA library lists current lots with their purity figures and downloadable certificates so you can review the data before committing budget.
Many websites are using COAs that are forged, supplied by a wholesaler, or from a manufacturer. These do not provide value because the peptides should be tested at the final point of contact before a purchaser receives them. Always look for the following:
- The name of the seller is listed on the COA, not “wholesale” or “authentichain” as these are 3rd party middlemen. In our case, our COAs will state “GreySyn”.
- The COA is verifiable on the lab website. Don’t just trust screenshots.
- The batch number or identifying characteristics are listed (such as vial crimp/lid color). Otherwise you don’t know if the COA matches the product.
No, every batch is tested. Testing requires the vial and its contents be depleted, and are not usable after testing. Batches are very consistent between vials, so each batch is tested multiple times for content, identity, and purity so you can have confidence in your vials.
Any compound that tests below 98% purity is destroyed. Our minimum threshold is >98%, but virtually every peptide we list is over 99%. We’ll clearly label the purity on every product and provide matching COAs for complete transparency.
Handling
Storage & reconstitution
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are most stable when kept frozen and protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution, store refrigerated and minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
The only exception is Tesamorelin, which should be stored at room temperature after reconstitution, and bacteriostatic water which should always be kept at room temperature away from light.
No. Because our products are for research use only, we do not provide instructions for preparation, administration, or dosage. Study design and handling are the responsibility of the qualified researcher.
All peptides are kept in cold-storage until shipping, and in their lyophilized state are very stable at room temperatures so there is very little threat of degradation. Just don’t leave the package in your mailbox all day during the Summer if you live in a desert (looking at you Arizona).
We package all peptides in multiple layers of custom protection, not just a cheap bubble envelope like the other brands.
Our sturdy, custom made boxes are discreet and unmarked on the exterior to prevent theft and tampering.
The powder forms a disc at the bottom of the vial during lyophilization, but is still perfectly fine if it comes loose or crumbles during shipping and handling. The main sources of degredation are always light and moisture, not physical stress.

We only ask that you test the peptide within 7 days of receipt so we can eliminate the possibility of temperature abuse or mishandling as the cause.

Orders placed before 12pm ET typically dispatch the same business day, and we guarantee 24 hour dispatch (Sundays and postal holidays excluded).
Because these are sensitive research materials, returns are limited. If an order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours and we’ll make it right.
